Based in Newport News, Virginia, Hope Medical Institute provides opportunities for qualified medical students to receive education and training at European institutes for three years followed by three years of clinical rotations in the United States. Every year, approximately 85 percent of Hope Medical Institute (HMI) students receive some form of financial aid.
To meet the financial needs of students, HMI works with institutions that have been approved by both the Canadian Student Loan Program and the United States Federal Loan Program. Further, all schools also take part in US Veterans Benefits Administration programs. These services have been developed to provide quality education and technical training to military service members, veterans, and their family members.
Financial aid professionals at each campus can provide students with personalized scholarship information, including discussions about education loans through private lenders. All HMI students have access to knowledgeable financial aid counselors who can advise on financial aid options. Counselors can also help guide students through the loan application processes.
